June 2011 - Plan what you would do if a fire occured

Have you thought about how you would escape from your own home if you had a fire?  You should have as minimum automatic fire detection installed, the key areas to ensure that you have cover is along the route that you would use to escape so this will be in corridors landings & detection should be located in areas of higher fire risk so if you are a smoker think also about the lounge or rooms that are used whilst smoking.
